Ear Assessment prior to Audiology appointment

Our services include evaluating the presence of wax build-up and ensuring the patency of the ear canal, which is particularly important before attending audiology appointments or hearing tests.

What to expect
Your ears will be checked with an Otoscope – a small hand held device with a light and cone on the end, which is placed in your ear canal and viewed by the practitioner.
A video Otoscope is also available for you to view the inside of your ear on a tablet screen if you wish. This can take images which can be sent to your GP with your permission and if this is required.
Please book Ear Micro-suction as a treatment option to deal with wax build-up.

- £15 for an ear health check/assessment
- Letter and advice provided on request
- This is also the service provided if an appointment for ear wax removal/micro-suction is made but not required at time of visit.
