Lash Enhancement Consultations – honest advice on thinning lashes

Short or Thinning Lashes?

Sparse, short or thinning lashes are incredibly common — with age, after illness, following lash extensions, or for no obvious reason at all. The lash-serum market is full of bold claims and products of wildly varying quality. If you’d like an honest, clinical view of what will actually work for you, book a lash consultation with Alex, an Independent Nurse Prescriber with over 20 years of NHS experience.

What your consultation covers

  • Assessment of your lashes and eye health — including anything that might explain lash thinning and whether any option is unsuitable for you.
  • Your medical history — some lash treatments aren’t appropriate for everyone, particularly if you have certain eye conditions or sensitivities.
  • All your options, honestly ranked — from over-the-counter conditioning serums and lash-care habits through to clinically proven treatments. Where a prescription option is clinically appropriate for you, Alex will explain it fully — including realistic results, how to use it safely, possible side effects, and cost.
  • A plan that suits you — or honest advice that you don’t need anything at all.

FAQs

  1. Do lash serums actually work?

Some do, some don’t, and the difference matters. At your consultation Alex will give you a straight answer about which category of product suits your situation — including when a cheaper over-the-counter option is honestly good enough

2. Why can’t you tell me the product and price on this page?

If the right option for you is a prescription treatment, UK regulations don’t allow prescription-only medicines to be advertised or priced to the public. Everything — product, evidence, side effects, cost — is discussed openly at your consultation.

3. Is it safe?

Any treatment Alex recommends will be assessed against your medical history and eye health first, and you’ll get clear guidance on safe use and what to look out for. That assessment is exactly why the consultation comes first.

4. How quickly would I see results?

Lash growth cycles are slow — with any effective treatment, changes typically build over a number of weeks. Alex will set realistic expectations for your individual plan at consultation.

Because Alex is an Independent Nurse Prescriber, if a prescription treatment is right for you it can be prescribed directly following your face-to-face assessment — no online questionnaires, no third parties.
