Polynucleotides

Advanced Skin Rejuvenation Backed By Science

Polynucleotides are a regenerative, biostimulatory injectable treatment designed to support skin repair, hydration, and cellular renewal. Composed of highly purified DNA fragments, they work by stimulating fibroblast activity, promoting collagen and elastin synthesis, and reducing oxidative stress and inflammation within the skin. This makes them particularly effective for improving skin quality, texture, and elasticity over time. Polynucleotides are suitable for treating a range of areas including the periorbital region, face, neck, and décolletage, and are well-tolerated with minimal downtime—making them a valuable option in regenerative aesthetic medicine.

Suitable as a standalone solution or used alongside other anti-wrinkle treatments, they can elevate and prolong your results. For optimal outcomes, a course of three sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart is recommended.

Polynucleotides

Commonly treated areas include the face, neck, décolletage, and hands—anywhere skin shows signs of ageing, dehydration, or dullness. With regular treatments, clients notice smoother texture, improved firmness, and a healthy, radiant glow.

What to Expect from Your Polynucleotide Treatment

How It’s Administered
Polynucleotides are injected into the skin using fine needles. The procedure takes around 20–30 minutes and is generally well-tolerated. A topical anaesthetic may be applied beforehand to enhance comfort.

After Effects
You may notice some redness, swelling, or tiny bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment. These are normal reactions and typically resolve within 24–48 hours. Mild bruising can occasionally occur and usually settles within a few days.

Aftercare Advice
To ensure optimal healing and results:

  • Avoid applying makeup, heavy exercise, alcohol, or heat-based treatments (like saunas or hot showers) for the first 24 hours.

  • Keep the skin moisturised and avoid using active ingredients (such as retinols, acids, or exfoliants) for at least 48 hours.

  • Apply a high SPF daily to protect the treated areas and maintain your results.

When You’ll See Results
Some clients notice early signs of improved skin texture and hydration within a week, but polynucleotides work gradually by stimulating your skin’s natural regenerative processes. Optimal results are usually visible after 2–3 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart, with continued improvements over several weeks. Maintenance treatments every 4–6 months help sustain long-term benefits
