Use ear wax softening drops or spray such as olive oil for a few days prior but not essential.
Do keep still during the procedure
Inform your GP of any new ear pain, swelling, discharge or odour, hours or days after procedure.
Get your ears checked regularly if you feel ear wax is building again.

Don’ts:

Get up too quickly after the procedure in case of unsteadiness.
Use cotton buds or insert anything into your ears as this can push wax down further or cause trauma.
